What are coaxial heat exchangers?
Coaxial heat exchangers are primarily a type of double-pipe heat exchanger. However, unlike other double-pipe heat exchangers, their inner tube is a spiral groove tube with contact between the inner and outer tubes. As a result, the coaxial heat exchangers are suitable for circulating water flows and the evaporation of refrigerants with high temperatures or in fluid turbulence. Made from stainless steel, our coaxial heat exchangers have the following advantages:
- They have a special surface structure like the plate heat exchanger, which enables improved heat transfer
- The design is simple, which makes the tube-in-tube exchanger less expensive than the shell and tube exchanger
- Our coaxial heat exchangers allow an improved flow of heat around the evaporator
